We wanted to communicate again with you our pick-up procedures established at GT Norman. Students should still go to their youngest siblings pick up area (unless youngest is 2nd grade, then they go to Big Loop).
We have 3 areas for pick-up:
Pick-up off of Sears street (K Loop) is for Kindergarten pick-up
Pick-up off of Lincoln (Valet) is for 1st grade - 2nd grade students that do not have older siblings
The front entrance is for 2nd students with 3/4 siblings and 3rd - 4th Grade pick-up location (Loop)
Please use the pick up lines and stay in your vehicle.
We ask you to pick up your students at the correct location. Please be respectful and polite. We know traffic during pick-up hours can be a concern, however following the established procedures will help traffic flow smoothly.
Please be patient and kind as we try to get our students where they need to be. Our common goal is to get all (550) students home safely.
Upon pickup you must have a pick-up pass that you will receive at Open House, 2 per child. These will be needed for cars and parents/guardians/big siblings walking up to pick-up.
We appreciate your help with this matter.

Hoping everyone enjoys their 4 day weekend, we look forward to seeing your children on Tuesday February 18th!

Due to ongoing illness affecting both students and staff, Reed City Area Public Schools will be closed tomorrow, Thursday, February 13th. The health and safety of our school community is our top priority. Please take care, stay home, and rest. Hopefully, the extended weekend will help everyone shake the illnesses currently in our buildings. Thank you for your understanding!

Please see our most recent news and dress up days for Snowcoming.

Good morning! Here is our most recent news, as always, please help us keep our pick up lines running smoothly.

Here is our GTN Family News!

Wanted to make sure this messaged reach as many as possible. Reed City Schools will be on a 3 hour delay tomorrow because of the wind chill. Doors will open at 10:50 at GTN, staff will be available at 10:35 in the drop off areas.

Reed City Area Public Schools are closed tomorrow, January 21, 2025, due to expected negative 20 degree windchills.

Here is our most recent news.
Staff will be participating in Professional Development tomorrow, Monday, January 20th so students do not have school. We look forward to seeing them on Tuesday.
Please remember that north Lincoln, east Sears, and west Higbee are used to our pick up loops. Do not park there and wait for your child to find you in line. Please use the pick up loops so students are not crossing the street or loading in moving car lines.
